Requirements

This position is powered by Mashshare Share Buttons and Easy Social Share Buttons plugins. Please choose just one of them that better suits your needs.

Where To Find?

This position is rendered on a post list (archive view) but only for the “Classic with Sidebar” template.

Supported Archives

Depending on your setup (check below), you can use the buttons on the front page, categories, tags, and other types of archives.

Setup

For Mashshare Share Buttons

To enable the position, please do as follows:

  1. Go to the WP Dashboard > MashShare Settings > Settings
  2. Choose the Position tab (left side)
  3. For the Post Types field, make sure that you’ve selected those post types you want to show the buttons on
  4. Scroll down and check if the Categories field is ON. Its name may be confusing. In fact, the Categories field is for all types of archives, including categories, tags, etc. To support custom post types, please select them in the Post Types field
  5. If you want to show the buttons on your homepage, please set to ON the field Frontpage
  6. Switch to the Networks tab to pick social networks of your choice
  7. Save Changes

For Easy Social Share Buttons

To enable the position, please do as follows:

  1. Go to the WP Dashboard > Easy Social Share Buttons
  2. Choose the Where to Display > Positions tab (screen, point 2)
  3. In the Additional Share Button Displays section (screen, point 3), please activate the Bimber: Mini position
  4. Switch the Where to Display > Post Types tab and check the box List of articles and post types you want to render the buttons on
  5. Social networks for that position base on the WP Dashboard > Easy Social Share Buttons > Share Buttons > Networks setup
  6. If you wish to adjust that position appearance and networks, please use the Position Settings panel (screen, point 4) in Where to Display > Positions tab
  7. Save Settings
