Available Formats
The Snax plugin offers the following formats:
- Story
Best for text stories, similar to WordPress posts - Open List
For images and/or embeds. Users can contribute by submitting new items. Ranking (order) is based on votes - Ranked List
For images and/or embeds. Users can’t contribute. Ranking (order) is based on votes - Classic List
For images and/or embeds. Users can’t contribute. Ranking (order) is set by the list author - Trivia Quiz
For quick Yes/No quiz - Personality Quiz
For a test to know who/what are you similar to - Classic Poll
For one or multiple questions about a subject or person - Versus Poll
For a poll where each question has two competing answers - Hot or Not Poll
For a poll where each question has two opposite answers - Link
Allows users to submit external site links. Read more - Meme
For a funny image with top and bottom texts - Audio
For a single audio - Video
For a single video - Image
For a single image - Gallery
Best for photo stories. Read more - Embed
For a single YouTube, Twitter, Instagram content - External Product
Allows users to submit external product links. Read more
Deactivating Formats
There’s no need to use all available formats. If your site is focused just on funny images and you don’t want to embed any Youtube video there, you can simply disable the Embed format. To disable unwanted formats, please follow these simple steps:
- Go to the WP Dashboard > Settings > Snax settings page
- Choose the General tab
- Uncheck formats you don’t need in the Active formats section
- Save changes
