Long Description

Joint replacement is a procedure that helps to replace an arthritic or damaged joint with an artificial one. Joint replacement can restore mobility and relieve pain in people who have suffered from such problems for a long time. This joint cannot be used for load bearing on its own; rather, it’s usually designed to co-exist with the patient’s native (original) joints. However, if the joint undergoes wear and tear over time, then it may need to be replaced as well.

There are so many different types of joint replacement surgeries, especially when you get into the details of any given surgery like the: shoulder joint, hip joint, knee joint, elbow joint, ankle joint, and even the wrist. Each surgery has its own variation of risks and benefits.
