We are considering installing a skylight with automatic opening to improve ventilation in the house. But we have heard that such systems can be unreliable or difficult to maintain. Does anyone use automatic skylights? How do they work in practice?

My wife and I chose a model with a rain sensor, which automatically closes the regal glass group at the first drops. This is very convenient, as you do not need to worry about sudden precipitation. In addition, the automatic opening of the skylight allows you to quickly ventilate the room, which is especially useful on hot days. The only downside we encountered is the need for regular maintenance so that the system works smoothly.
