Automatic updates
To get notifications about new theme updates directly in your WP Dashboard, you need to use the Envato Market plugin. If you haven’t installed it during theme installation, you can do this now via WP Dashboard › Appearance › Install Plugins page.

After the theme update, please update theme plugins to the latest available versions.
Manual updates
You should always try to use automatic updates. But if something goes wrong and the automatic update fails, you can update the theme manually. Below two possible methods.
WordPress method
To update the theme using the WP Dashboard, please follow these steps:
- Download the latest Bimber theme version from your ThemeForest account
- Go to the WP Dashboard › Appearance › Themes and deactivate the Bimber theme by selecting another available theme
- Remove the Bimber theme
- Upload the new version (make sure you upload the bimber.zip file)
- Activate the Bimber theme
- Update theme plugins
FTP method
To update the theme using FTP client, please follow these steps:
- Download the latest Bimber theme version from your ThemeForest account
- Log in to your FTP account using your favorite FTP client (e.g. FileZilla) or use one of WordPress file manager plugins like e.g. File Manager
- Go to the SITE_ROOT/wp-content/themes/ directory
- Remove only the bimber folder. Don’t remove the bimber-child-theme folder
- Unzip the downloaded bimber.zip file and upload the bimber folder into the SITE_ROOT/wp-content/themes/ location
- Update theme plugins
